SUP may stand for “Stand Up Paddle” however this class will be more of a “Sit Unwind Paddle.”
In fact there will be little paddling as we find a spot close by on the Rocky River. Think of it as the 41 North Floating Yoga studio with cliffs on one side, trees on the other and the sky above as your ceiling. This is how the brain and the body responds when you are in, on, near or under the water. Stress most often occurs when we are thinking about the past or thinking about the future. Water has this ability to keep us in the present moment. The yoga practice will be a yin style, letting the body relax with some easy movements and stretches. Combining nature, the water and SUP Yoga Calm is a perfect combination to breathe in the present moment and unwind from the week.
